Vaux Chair

By Haiken

An outdoor design that takes its durability from its aluminium structure. The Vaux chair was designed carrying the reflections of the Iroko tree - a large hardwood tree found in the west coast of tropical Africa.

So there is little surprise as to why Vaux adds a tropical element to an outdoor setting. But where does Vaux get it's name you may ask?

Calvert Vaux was an English-American landscape architect who was known for his partnership with Frederick Olmsted. Together, they designed many of America's most famous public parks including the famous Central Park in New York City.

Who better to name our outdoor furniture after than an architect who created one of the most popular, well-known parks ever made!
